FAQ

The Miss Arkansas High School America Pageant celebrates young women and empowers them to achieve their dreams. It is a platform for leadership, confidence, and community service, all while preparing contestants for the national pageant and future opportunities.

To participate, simply visit our Registration page and complete the required application. Make sure to review the eligibility criteria to ensure that you meet all requirements. After your city title fee is secured you will receive an official city sash to wear proudly while representing at the state pageant, making appearances, or volunteering.

Elementary Delegates:

• Evening Gown -floor Length formal ball gown
• Interview -sponsor tee & black bottoms, with casual footwear.
  • No makeup allowed.
• Fun Fashion – dressy, trendy, exciting outfit that showcases your style and personality. Dress, romper, jumpsuits are all welcome.
  • No props, hats, headpieces, or denim. Shorts must be appropriate and conservative length

HSA Delegates:

• Black opening number outfit- Each Junior High, High School, and Collegiate delegate will need to wear a black dress, romper, or jumpsuit of their choice for the opening number dance.
  • No capes or trains.
  • Make sure you can dance and move in the outfit without restrictions
• Interview -your choice of outfit, dress, romper, jumpsuit.
• Evening Gown JH- Ball gown, HS – small slit to the knee, Collegiate – Slit allowed
• Fun Fashion dressy, trendy, exciting outfit that showcases your style and personality.
  • Dress, romper, jumpsuits are all welcome.
  • No props, hats, headpieces, or denim.
  • Shorts must be appropriate and conservative length.

• Evening Gown 40%
• Interview 40%
  • Elementary-3 minutes
  • HSA- 5 minutes.
  • All will be standing, panel style.
• Fashion Runway 20%

Three titles will be awarded at the Arkansas State Pageant

• Arkansas State
  • Highest total in each division.
• Diamond State
  • Second highest in each division
• Natural State
  • People’s choice in each division
• All three titles will receive the official crown and sash along with flowers in addition to our amazing prize package.
• Alternates
  • A first, second and third alternate will also be awarded in each age division.
• Overall awards
  • Awards will be given for gown, fun fashion, and interview in each age division.

Headshot:

• A contestant headshot must be emailed by October 1, 2025 for photogenic and people’s choice on social media.
  • Photos must be in color, high resolution. Headshot only.
  • No full body shots are acceptable.

• Your resume is due by October 1, 2025.
• The template must be followed and is provided in the information packet.

Once you are registered, you will be placed in the official roster and will receive important delegate communications that will be sent out leading up to the pageant via Facebook messenger.
